Intro
to Meditation

Introduction to Meditation
For groups or individuals who are new to meditation, this four-week introductory course lays the groundwork for establishing a meditation practice.

This is a great program for people who say they can’t meditate. Teachings help to dispel misconceptions about what meditation is and how to do it.

Simple practices create a gentle introduction to this transformative practice. Weekly journalling assignments and recorded meditations help to establish a regular practice.

Weekly Guided Meditations

Weekly Guided Meditations
These weekly offerings are most effective in eight or twelve week intervals, but can easily be scheduled to best suit your requirements. Ranging from 30 to 60 minutes, these guided meditations walk participants through a variety of meditation techniques, including breath awareness, body scan, visualization, loving kindness, gratitude as well as exploration of various objects of focus including sensation, sight and sound. There is a brief discussion and Q&A at the close of each session.

This exploration of meditation techniques has proven highly successful by providing practitioners with a wide variety of options, allowing them to discover for themselves what feels right and suits them best.

Intro to Mindfulness

Introduction to Mindfulness Course
Structured to serve small groups, this course can be tailored to span from four to eight weeks. Curriculum includes an introduction to mindfulness practice, followed by exploration of the breath, the body, the mind, emotions, compassion and gratitude. Each class includes lecture, mindfulness and meditation activities, class discussion as well as weekly home practice assignments.

This curriculum is ideally suited for companies who are seeking wellness and stress-reduction training for their employees. Benefits include increased creativity and innovation, enhanced resiliency, improved efficiency and greater vitality. This is also a wonderful compliment to leadership trainings. Upon course completion, continuing education opportunities are available and include weekly guided meditations, retreats and lectures.

Mindfulness
Coaching

Mindfulness Coaching
Offered on an individual basis, these one-on-one sessions guide participants to incorporate mindfulness practices into their daily life. Mindfulness practice can be highly beneficial physically, mentally and emotionally and can contribute to a greater sense of self-awareness which can help to break through blocks in reaching goals. Mindfulness practice also trains your attention to be in the present moment, which contributes positively to problem-solving, creativity, interactions with others, decision-making and stress-reduction.

Mindfulness Meditation Retreats
A variety of custom-tailored retreats are available. From half-day on-site to two-day weekend retreats off-site, we can develop a retreat package ideally suited for your group. Mindful ATX is also available to supplement to your retreat, providing drop-in mindfulness coaching and meditation exercises.
